Early Reviews

I would like to share some early feedback from friends and family who have read the book already. I am gratified to learn that the book has moved people so deeply. That knowledge motivates me even more to increase our efforts to spread our story.

"I couldn't put the book down! I don't know how you did it, but I got chills and was living the nightmare with you."

—David, friend of the family

“Okay, I didn't cry or anything like that...well I guess that’s not true, I did cry.... You got me. You really got me!"

—my friend, Andy

“I couldn’t put it down.”

—my mother’s neighbor

“Honestly, it’s so intense I have to put it down, because emotionally I can’t handle it.”

—my friend, “Coov”

"I am truly impressed with the essence and emotions you were able to portray via your words."

—Gary, father of the friend who helped me write the book

“The pace is just right—you had me holding my breath and heart racing at times; but I was also discouraged, worried, sad…and then celebrating….”

—Janis, mother of the wife of the friend who helped me write the book

Thanks to all for your support and praise!

Book Launched!

After months of anticipation, the long-awaited box arrived on our doorstep. The first delivery of books arrived from the printer! Six months of hard work had paid off.

I gave Chance the honor of selling the first copy; it seemed fitting to me. Nothing about this story would mean anything if my son were not alive and healthy. He sold it to his kindergarten teacher; I'm sure he loves the attention.

We launched the next phase of our rocket ship ride with a moving and high-energy party at our house last night. I was pleased to see the emotion of my guests as they absorbed the impact of our tale for themselves. Thanks to all my friends and family who showed their support for our project by attending the launch party!

Now comes the task of spreading the news, sharing the vision, and instilling the hope we have that food safety will become the priority in this nation that we want it to be. God willing it will be so.

Blast off!

Stay safe! --Kip

P.S.  For those of you keeping track, I had zero heart attacks during the book publishing process, but I did have shortness of breath the entire time...
